Why Mother's are so precious?! :)

My Mother & I... (:
I have so much joy in my heart right now, I really don't know why?!  I wish I knew because there's really nothing to be happy about at this moment.  I have assignments due to complete,  I have Open Day coming up this week and it's gonna be hella hectic I can already imagine, basically I have, I have, I have a lot on my plate. Okay, I think I know why i'm happy right now... because I get to go on my blog! Bliss! My Blog is my happy place! I'm sure you also have something you call your happy place?? Your room maybe??? Music??? :)

Yesterday, it was Mother's day and sadly for me it was the very first Mother's day that I didn't get the chance to talk to my gran! :( That just brings tears to my eyes... It's been 5 months and 15 days (which equals to 167 days) since my gran passed away and it still hurts even by just mentioning her name.  I guess it goes to show, how shocked I was at the news! I have no other way than to accept it though, as painful as it is.  Life goes on.  I miss her voice and her beautiful smile that gave me all the courage in the world.  It shall remain in my mind & heart forever.  Okay okay, so guys what did you get your mother?? did you perhaps cook for her?? :) I woke up and sent my mother a message on WhatsApp :) how convenient?! But she knows I would have spoilt her if I was back home, obviously!

Mothers are so precious.  Most of us take them for granted and once they gone, you can't stop crying about your loss.  My advice, do everything you've ever wanted to do for your Mother now, because you won't get a warning as to when they will leave you.  I am the intelligent lady that I am today all thanks to my Mom, and I thank her for giving me an education. To Mom, education is the key to success, and learning is the first law of life.  My mom had a great influence on my life. She set an example of hard work and optimism, which she demonstrated daily and which made a big impact on me. She always encouraged me to work hard and do my best at all times.  I will always appreciate her and all her teachings.  She's a diva though hahaha... who else has their mother on BBM? WhatsApp? and Facebook?!!! In a nutshell, my mother is my best friend.  There you have it... :)

If you have lost your mother, I'm terribly sorry for your loss, don't forget that she gave you a life because she wanted you to be "somebody", so go on and make her wishes come true.  Do it for her as much as you will be doing it for yourself! Succeed in whatever you do and make a difference in someone's life.  Respect "abantu abadala kunawe" (translation:  your elders / people older than you), even Mandoza says it in his song "Hlonipha".  It's real guys and girrrrrls.

Keeping up with Tee.. (:

Hello everyone, so I haven't lived up to my word... Like I said, i'd be post something every week... But I've been soooo busy lately! It would take me forever to explain.  Anyways, as you already know, I'm a student so you know the drill.  I have assignments and I also have to prepare for presentations and my radio show that I have twice a week.  But let me not bore you with all of that!  Hope everyone is keeping WARM, 'cause I can feel this winter is gonna be the "biznis" man! And by that, I don't mean go cuddle and play house haha... I mean, dressing up for winter and eating good warm food! How I'd die for my mom's famous dish of "umngqusho" right now, you have no idea?! It's the bow wow...

Oh and by the way, I took off my weave, just doing a ritual for my blog, so you all can see 'The Real Tee' behind it all... I'm as real as they come! Don't be fooled by my weaves.. As much as I love them, they give black girls the ability to look all glamourous since we're not blessed with long silky hair! We kinda have to go the extra mile to look good, but who's complaining ladies?! I'm not!!!! If someone has a problem with your weave, tell them to deal with it unless they paid for it! Can i get a Hell Yeah??? Awesome! :)

Go out there, and make a difference.... :) Help an old lady cross the street, we can't all change the world!  Do the little that you can do, afterall, it is the little things that always count!
